Application procedures for ERASMUS and Exchange Students
Steps to follow:
1. Nomination on the part of the home institution of students selected to
come to UFP as follows:
a. Name and Surname
b. Subject Area (according to the Bilateral Agreement)
c. Period of stay
2. Filling in and sending of Application and accommodation forms before the
deadline. Please log on to http://incoming.ufp.pt
.
3. The student must also send by postal mail, together with the printed application form, the following documents:
a. Learning Agreement, which contains the choice of courses, duly signed and
stamped by the Departmental Coordinator of the home institution
b. 2 Original passport-sized photographs and
c. Copy of the Identity Card or the Passport
Deadlines for receiving nominations and documents:
• June 21 2010, for students coming for the 1st semester or full
academic year
• November 19 2010, for students coming for the 2nd semester
Acceptance notification to the students
We will e-mail the students’ acceptance:
• by the end of July 2010, for those students coming for the 1st semester or
full academic year, and
• by the end of December 2010, for those students coming for the 2nd
semester.
Students are required to facilitate an e-mail address. Please, note that this
will be the e-mail used to get in touch with them. It is the students’
responsibility to check it frequently.
Please note that, although we have accepted applications after the deadline
in previous years, we cannot guarantee that late applications will be
accepted.
Orientation Week
The orientation week takes place during the first week of the start of each
semester. The 1st semester starts on September 13 2010. Students are required
to be in Porto any day during the Orientation Week.
Since late arrivals caused considerable delay of administrative matters and
course registration procedures, we will not register any student arriving in
Porto after September 27 2010 or February 21 2011.
